Our aim is to help you find the right independent secondary school for your son. We suggest speaking to you and your son at length in order to best understand your needs. We will then offer suggestions tailored to your requirements and, most importantly, that fit your son's profile. We will also offer you a clear plan to follow thereafter.

The key question we seek to answer is not "what is the best school?" but "what is the best school for your son?".

Once your son has taken up a place we can offer a bespoke ongoing support package that allows you to tap into our experience and inside knowledge of the sector at all times. 

This could involve anything related to your son's school life such as: which GCSEs or A Levels to choose, how to improve in a challenging subject or what course to study at university. This package enables you to access our advice on anything school related and can be renewed annually. 

There are around 2600 independent schools in the UK educating a total of approximately 615,000 pupils. While they share certain things in common they are all distinguished by certain characteristics. Some of these have been magnified by the media but these portrayals often lack nuance. Independent schools have evolved hugely in recent years and, as well as offering a rigorous academic education offer so much more besides. Pastoral care, in both day and boarding schools, is exceptional. Facilities improve constantly allowing pupils unrivalled opportunities and the use of the latest technology to enhance teaching can be seen throughout the sector.

These are all tangible benefits but what is less tangible is their atmosphere (which is slightly different in every school) and the character they endow their pupils with. These are the result of deep-rooted traditions that continue to evolve, families who embrace the ethos of schools and generations of dedicated staff, who see their role as both mentor and teacher. 

We offer genuine insights based on direct, recent experience of the secondary independent sector. We do not overpromise and deal in easy cliches. If we can't help you, we will say so.
